North Carolina pastor casually suggests putting gay people in a concentration camp and letting them die off

Pastor Charles Worley of Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden, N.C. doesn’t like homosexuals — or queers, for that matter.

In a sermon posted on the church website, Worley talks about his disgust at Barack Obama’s support for gay marriage. This despite his state recently passing a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage.

In a thick southern accent, the pastor says, “I was disappointed bad.”

“The Bible’s again’ it, God’s again’ it, I’m again’ it, and if you’ve got any sense you’re again’ it!”

Worley really doesn’t define his terms when talking about lesbians, queers and homosexuals, but one thing’s for sure: he has a plan. He suggests the best way to get rid of them is to put all gay people in a concentration camp of sorts behind an electrified fence and to let them die off.

“You know what, in a few years they’ll die out,” he tells his approving congregation. “You know why? They can’t reproduce.”

This moron seems not to understand that gay people can’t just be killed off because, well, more gay people would simply be born. To straight parents!

He also doesn’t seem to understand basic biology. I mean, if the imprisoned gay people in his nightmare fantasy really wanted to reproduce, they could. Then again, those children wouldn’t necessarily be gay anyway since parents’ sexuality does not matter in determining the child’s.

Ugh, but why even try to argue any of this. This just makes you shake your head in disgust and amazement.

“Could you imagine kissin’ some man?” he asks at one point. Something tells me Pastor Worley has imagined it more than most.
