Silver-haired Oprah-wannabe Anderson Cooper was a real tough guy on his creatively-titled talk show Anderson yesterday. He was talking to “human Barbie” Sarah Burge, a terrible woman who holds the Guinness world record for having undergone the most cosmetic surgeries. When discussing how Burge encouraged her 15-year-old to get Botox in order to stop sweating from her forehead, Anderson Cooper decided he had had enough.
“I honestly have nothing more to talk to you about,” he told her. “I got to be honest. I got to just stop. I’m sorry. I try to be really polite to all my guests, I just think you’re dreadful and I honestly don’t want to talk to you anymore.”
Of course, since Burge is a publicity vampire, inviting her onto the show was a mistake to begin with. (Just look at her Twitter profile picture, dude!) Once there, though, Cooper should have actually discussed how “dreadful” Burge is rather than kicking her off and giving her even more attention.
Burge, who is British, spent most of the last day on Twitter insulting Cooper and, of course, seeking more publicity: “I’m still in USA doing interviews contact my press office of you want to talk to me.”
Remember how Oprah dealt with people she didn’t like? She publicly shamed them until they couldn’t walk in public without being ridiculed. Maybe a little extreme, but at least it wasn’t this chickenshit Anderson Cooper stuff.
