A Russian hacker is currently trying to get into the LinkedIn account you forgot you had

About 6.5 million LinkedIn passwords have been posted online at a Russian hackers’ forum, forcing everyone to remember what LinkedIn is.

The Yahoo-owned social network for professionals uses very secure encryption on its passwords, but it’s only a matter of time before even the most complicated passwords get cracked. Sophos security recommends changing your password now, before someone gets into your account and notices you haven’t done anything on LinkedIn for two years. Or maybe the hackers will send out more contact requests for others to immediately mark as spam.
