Lisa Dutton is an anchor for Global Saskatoon, where she hosts the morning news broadcast with a mix of wit, charm, and a penchant for uncomfortable on-air innuendo.
From the word “mom-preneur” to Dutton’s humble brag about how she was about to partake in some “good banter” to her co-anchor’s facial expressions — everything in the clip above is hilarious.
In her peculiar flat accent, Dutton describes how when her son was teething, he would put “the big, fat rubber end of my vibrating toothbrush” in his mouth and “just kind of sit there like, ‘Oh yeah, that feels good, that hits the spot.’”
And if all those words said on the morning news weren’t already giggle-worthy, Dutton illustrates the story with some very creative hand gestures and facial expressions.
Last year Dutton had another viral hit when she was talking about a sausage fest on air and uttered the phrase “pick-a-dick” but at least that time she realized what she had said. Not so with the “big fat rubber” implement she described more recently. Maybe this is why Global Saskatoon boasts the most-watched TV news in the city.
And just for good measure, here’s a classic Global Saskatoon slip-up, with then-anchor Keri Ferguson describing a hike in energy prices as being “jacked off.”
