Miley Cyrus not hot enough, says sexiest man alive Michael Coren

Sun News Network's cringeworthy discussion of the VMAs would be funny if it weren't so gross

All the world was discussing Miley Cyrus and the VMAs on Monday, and Sun News Network decided to get in on the fun, led by the network’s resident bigot Michael Coren.

Coren hosted a six-minute discussion on his show The Arena in which he repeatedly told his audience he didn’t know the first thing about pop culture, apparently not even aware that awards shows usually involve a statuette of some kind. (He also thinks people “download” videos from YouTube.)

But have no fear: the network’s daytime anchor Alex Mihailovic was on hand to dish.

And boy did they dish!

Their primary problem with Cyrus’ raunchy performance wasn’t that the transition from teeny bopper to sex fiend is at this point a highly-scripted ritual for all young starlets, or that her selective adoption of black culture is racially problematic, or that Robin Thicke is the last person anyone should want to grind with — no. Coren and Mihailovic were utterly shocked at the vulgar, sexual nature of her set and then spent the entire time judging Cyrus’s physical attractiveness!

Choice quotes:

“This girl was — it blows my mind, I don’t understand why — the hottest girl in the top 100 in Maxim Magazine.”

“She’s got a boy’s body, almost.”

“A boy’s body, a boy’s face, a boy’s everything.”

“She’s not particularly attractive, she’s an ordinary looking girl. She’s not sexy.”

“I get the heebie-jeebies just thinking about this girl anywhere close to me.”

Hahahaha, celebrities are corrupting our morals but let’s look closely at whether this 20-year-old’s gyrations get us hard enough to let her dance on stage.

Coren and Mihailovic finished off the segment affirming their love for Lady Gaga and Katy Perry (who do have enough sex appeal for Sun News) and generally acting like gross, pervy old men.
